Three themes of week long summer camps are currently offered. Meeting 2.5 hours a day, kiddos will create take-home artwork, enjoy GT inspired creative problem solving activities, and have a small daily snack. Camp prices INCLUDE materials and snacks. Limited to 10 per session, with a minimum of 2 per session. Age restrictions are set so campers can have the most fun, but they are simply guidelines and I'm open to bending the age limits case by case - such as siblings that prefer to be together, tween/teen specific programming, or group classes for home schoolers should there be demand. Hi I'm Kristie (Mrs. Kristie) and I am the owner and lead teacher at Kitz Art Haus. Struggling to find additional enrichment options for my own kids, Kitz Art Haus grew from a desire to share my passion for art through the lens of a commercial artist, and introduce local kiddos to art that inspires creative thinking and problem solving.

I graduated with a degree in Advertising Art from UT Austin, worked as a Graphic Designer in the advertising industry for many years, and am currently a Creative Director for a men's lifestyle brand. I've volunteered at non-profit community centers and VBS teaching preschool to high school art projects and classes, and spent a semester as an adjunct professor of graphic design at a junior college. 

We've lived in New Braunfels six years and I'm looking forward to watching our kids continue to grow and flourish in this amazing community.

Camps are held in a stand alone art studio on my one-acre home property. The teaching space has a full kitchen, private bathroom and a wall of windows overlooking a field with local wildlife.
